Getting underway again.

After a bit of away time while waiting for 1.10 and due to RL issues, I'm slowly finding a little extra time to get back to work on WWCII. Just starting with a few minor changes, working back up to a full head of steam.

First few little changes:

Diamonds now give magic damage in weapons instead of % damage to undead.
Amazon bows can now have up to 6 sockets.
Act 2 hireling aura's now start almost immediately instaed of sometimes taking ages to kick in.

Other changes in the planning stages:

Powered up mercs - all having life leech passive skill, more powerful skills at higher levels.
Special bonus item for killing act bosses the first time that can in turn produce an uber item.
Random skill/stat books.
Hireling set's, if possible.
Improved rares by reducing the incidence of lower lvl modifiers at higher lvls.

These are just a few of the .txt file changes I'm planning, not to mention new graphics, changes to the progression through different area's in the game and new skills. A lot of work to do before the first new beta will be released.

Halfway thru improving affixes for rares, prefixes done, only suffixes to go. While low lvl affixes will still be able to spawn on higher lvl rares they should be much less common with mid-high lvl affixes being more common. Should have this finished tomorrow.

Another quick update on progress. have now completed:

- rare charms
- increased stack sizes for keys & TP/ID scrolls
- affixes completed tho probably needs a little tweaking
- enhanced arrows/bolts providing addition damage modifiers
- hirelings given extra skills but increase slvls much slower to help prevent them becoming overpowered
- increased cost of getting hirelings
- improved hireling leveling
- all classes now have a starting skill, not just necro's & sorc's
- increased prices that vendors will buy items in NM & Hell. Maxes out at 75000 in act 5 hell
- all classes now start with 20/20/10/10 stat points & a once only potion giving an additional 40 unallocated stat points
- axes & swords now both give +50% damage to demons

Next I need to start working on skills I think.
