Characters on the XyRAX mod can go as high as level 120

well, characters in Xyrax can reach up to lvl 120
of course a lvl 120 char still can find hard the game, so beware muahahaha.

and for your other question the assassin is not modded in this mod yet, so is not suggested to use her (it may cause problems or not) but as far as I can remember there are a few assassin runewords (at least one for low levels and other for mid ones)
