Finally, i have decided to release my mod, from my furry paws and endless play 'testing'

Its called Doom Shadows (sorry about the cheesy name)

(if you want the mod with music, both files are needed)
- found a typo in a file in the music MPQ, due to the size of the download i would recommend fixing it yourself (if you have downloaded it already), just open it up in winmpq and rename 'xremple' to 'xtemple'

I'm on a Mac (OSX 10.5.8) and tried installing this because it's a simple .mpq swap (Diablo II Patch (Carbon)) and when I load it up I get an error saying this patch is for classic Diablo II. Have you tested this on Mac's or has anybody? Or what am I doing wrong?

I'd love to try this mod out, so any info would be greatly appreciated.

i have not tried my mod on a Mac as i do not have one to test it on, but i did assume it would work on one due to no code edits.
my only guess as to what is wierd is something to do with some sounds.txt edits i did changing music, so try the mod with this file in data\global\excel and run in -direct -txt. it should read music from default locations

if this does not fix it, i am very sorry, but i have no other ideas of what is going wrong, i may have added too many item codes, or tweaked any number of txt files which may be hardcoded on macs

EDIT; doh.. macs dont run direct txt properly, may need to try this

Thanks for the quick and helpful reply, Evilpanda. Alas, I can't get the mod to work on my computer. I wonder if anyone else with a mac could try it and confirm on refute my problem. I desperately need to just bootcamp a copy of XP on my computer and play mods that way...

what d2 patch is it based on?

It should work on any patch from 1.10 to 1.13 and has all the uber keys and skill respec added.

Hi. Could you upload both files to another hosting service? Filefront seems to be broken.

i checked out filefront, cant login, the site seems to be currently under some sort of maintenence or overhaul, and is screwed up.
they may sort it out by tomorrow... if not i will try to find somewhere else to upload.
