Using a resolution better than 800x600? It can be done. However, the actual maker of the mod (Kato) is on an extended catnap. I haven't heard from him in at least 18 months.

Snejmod has something like this, where you can play it aat 1024x768. But you would have to rewrite some video stuff in the game in order to do that.

You will need to see the SnejMod forums about that. I am not sure if SeltSamuel will give you that information freely.

Unfortunately the only graphics 'enhancement' mod compatible with v1.09 is Sven's Glide Wrapper (http://www.svenswrapper.de/english/index.html), and you can only use that to up the quality of the rendered image, and not the 'apparent' resolution.

So you're not going to get something like this:

But you can at least get a crisper, nicer-looking image, and on many computers a smoother playing experience depending on your specs (I've seen some low-end machines perform better with Glide, but my g/f's clunker chokes on it, probably because of integrated intel garbage :p) Easy enough to try it and see, though!

I have to go since I have visitors but if you have any worries setting up the wrapper let me know and I'd be happy to walk you through it - or one of those resident smart cookies may wander through and lend a hand :) Mmm.. cookies...

Good luck ;)
