When i used the spell Blind Fury the game gave me this assertion error:

This happend in Flayer Jungle:

D2Game\MONSTER\MonsterUnique.cpp
ptMonstats->pnAttack1MinDamage[0] == 0

EDIT:

This is the Fetish monster that are the problem. As soon as they are in my range the game crash.

About the sorc masteries, what you could do is have a mastery for each tab instead of each element.

how about we take and make all the ones in each tab be say, if its in chaotic tab have there type chaotic, and have a chaotic mastery, but just rename like lightning type to chaotic, that way we can make it look neater, just a thought...

Ok, this is getting REALLY annoying. We've been getting this error all day long!

Always the same error, but happens at random times. We were stuck in the Chaos Santuary for like an hour! Now its even happening Act5! You really need to do something about this one. Its made the game unplayable.

This error depends of changing Hirelings damage.

I got this also during the beta, i know its even easier for Chaotic Death to find this error if you tell him what hireling you use.

This is really more of a suggestion than a bug, but all the good weapons have spells attached to them and do {filtered} damage. No offense or anything, but they make lag REALLY bad unless you have a fast pc. Hopefully I'm not the only one who has this problem, but could you include some weapons that just do normal damage in the next patch? I can't use half the weapons even if I wanted to. (The new sorc skills are really pretty, but extremely laggy...)

Seinois, are you talking about the uniques? Because I have yet to find a single one. :) Also, my computer's on the slow side, a P566, with 196 megs of ram, and it can handle being online using AOL, and playing Diablo II, while raining down eighteen meteors...

I do love this game, and I haven't seen any bugs, thankfully. :) Of course, I'm still in act 3, trying to understand why flayer shamans can inferno me for five minutes striaght and do 60-130 dmg total. :)

All those death rings and some such are fun. Uh, Corrupter, are there any others besides, Death, Life, Nature, Flaming(right?) Buzzing, Chilling rings? Like a Chaos ring? :) now if I could only find a God's judgement.
Please tell me I won't have to wait too far into Nightmare for one? or does Diablo drop them. THat would be ironic to the extreme. :)

Mephisto should drop uniques, believe it or not. and the rings are as follows.

Blazing (Fire)
Nature
Drowning (Water)
Blitzing (Wind)
Spark (Electric)
Death
Life

However, there is a unique ring called Chaos Star ;). Good guess!

I have a P3-733, but only have 128 ram, and run win2k. So, after loading Diablo, I have about 8 megs of free ram...on average...so 18 meteors really hurts my pc. If it goes through too much trama, then it says I have to restart and it crashes my games. And yes, Uniques. The high end uniques have a bunch of spells attached to them upon striking.

ok, i jsut dled the mod and installed it, im playing my new sorc for maybe 3 minutes, when the game crashes and i get an assertion error c00000005
or whatever. Then when i open it up again, and click on singleplayer, the game crashes with another error. i deleted my character, and then i could get in. I playes my new new sorc for about 2 minutes again, and the same thing happened. It was'nt in the same place, one was in the blood moor, and one was in the den of evil.

ideas?

you didnt install something right. the .dll files and .mpq file should be put in your d2 directory, along with the data folder. check your shortcut for d2. rename these following things so they say something like this.

Target: "C:\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -direct -txt

Start In: ""C:\Diablo II"

It should read something like that. Hope this helps ;). Enjoy the mod.

yeah, sorry bout that, turns out when i reinstalled for the mod, i forgot to get the 1.09 patch. Great mod btw, im really enjoying it :lol:

I got a serious problem since Im using my act2 offensive merc, every time he hits a target (i guess thats also when he turns his spell thing on) the game crashes damn it i had to use another merc (btw: version 1.3)

Edit: Well it wasnt the merc, the problem seems to be with the enemys:

I was in Act2 in the sewers... u know when u go down at the docks in the lower right... right there...

set ammy, Using the waves of sound has a enhanced dmg based on char lvl. it doesnt work when u equip it. also has +max life which works just fine.
And most of all what really sucks is everything and all of us....

full titans clash set equipped

it seem that u can raise your damage by simply moving an item around in ur inventory!
i clicked on random things in my inventory and lifted and placed the repeatly and my damage kept raising itself. i dont know how far u can pump it but i got it rom like 600 to 8000. It resets itself if u unequip something, or press w to go to your other weapon config. This would be a cheap bug to use in pvp i guess or pvm making the game super ez. Unless its jsut a disply error.

Lit, I actually have heard of that bug. I don't know it's name, but it's the most rarest bug in the game. :) At least, I think it is. You might want ot do a search, but you'll find at most five or so posts about it. It is one of the rarest bugs though. Ask Alkaland about it, he might figure it out. I Don't know if it's a display or not, but dang, I'dl ove to be able to do more than the current 400-600 dmg I'm doing right now. :)

This bug has a relation to random modifiers to the set. I don't know if its just a display bug. It would be easy to test out in PvP to see if that are the case.
