Sorry about the broken links, I had a bad fallout with my web-host deleting some of my WIP work (The sources of my .cof editor, My in progress conversions, and my custom modded source of WoW model viewer just to name some of the stuff that pertains to D2) and migrated my data to another server. The domain should have been left in place though since I am currently still paying for it.

I got mad at all the lost time and moved on to helping program on a couple of open source projects. But I was still trying to keep the resources online for everyone here to use. Thanks for keeping a backup for some of these everyone, I have a lot of bad luck with my data getting deleted (first time my computer got fried and i lost everything, then I move stuff online so i can access it anytime...then some of it just goes missing).

If anyone is still interested in stuff like this I can start back, as I owe a whole lot to the Phrozen Keep for getting me started with modding and programming. Just know that I won't have as much time as I had, I am currently working about 4 days or so a week, but other than that my schedule is clear for a good while.

I found your old thread about Cof maker but I thought you're not coming back to finish it. If you finish it I would be so happy! I'm working with cof files a lot of time, and the existing COFEDIT is not very comfortable.

I was meaning more towards the conversion of graphics but if I have time I might try to work on a .cof maker again...Its the main reason I got upset when i lost some of my stuff. I had layering of seperate parts in different directions with a preview partially working and spent a lot of time on it. The .cof file is in turn not that simple of a file format to work with, but I still remember most of what I learned while working with it.

Just give me a little bit of time to try and sort out some kind of proper webhosting (webhosting that is stable) and I'll line up some kind of project for D2. A .cof utility is definitely a possibility because I was really close to a fully functional maker, you had to use .gifs or .pngs for the preview but it was almost there.

Sounds great! If you need some help from me - just ask! I discovered some things about cof that aren't explained on the forum. Maybe you could use my help.

I was working on new item animation on character - and good cof tool is of tremendous use here.

You should request some admin to host your files in the keep's file center so that they do not get lost again.
