Hello friends.
Are there any TES4: Oblivon fans here?
Here's a little New Year's Present from me. In my new video I tried to imitate a TES4: Oblivion quest called "Miscarcand". This demonstration took quite some time to make becuase I had to learn to do many things. The hardest and the most interesting part was learning about Objects in D2.
So here's a list of what I'm showing here:
-substituting quest speech sounds;
-substituting quest speech string text;
-synchronizing sound and text;
-changing quest icons;
-new tileset based on Ayleid ruins from TES4:Oblivion;
-new animated objects container (breakable and openable);
-new animated object skeleton corpse container (look at the skeleton carefuly when I click on it);
-new animated object based on Horadric malus OperateFunction;
-new boss animation - Lich King with Staff;
-monster sounds;
-animated inventory graphics;
The thing is that I'm most proud of is the animation of all the objects in this video, because I made everything myself, originally these models weren't animated. It was really fun to do it in 3ds Max. I also wanted to make Martin NPC animation to substitute Charsi but I was too lazy because of all the holidays Let me know what you think of this. I like it a lot, though I must notice that tilesets seems kind of dull and uninspiring. I know that converting for d2palette is not nice process, but as long as you avoid blue and green colors you can differentiate it more.

I have encountered some problems with an animation from the golden land pack, and specifically the H!, i.e. the brown horned demon.
It seems that the colors appear correctly in the first act only. I have tried to import it in the second act, however some pieces of the animation appear very blurry or do not appear at all.
Just for verification, I have tried to open the dcc files with the threedice, a java based tool available in the phrozen keep, not cv2, and the dccs appear in the same way as in the act 2, i.e. pieces from the image are missing. In the cv2, all dccs appear correctly.
I think that it may be a problem with the pallete. If you have time can you check it?
