Re: Gorgon demons
You mean the Demogorgon from Baldur's Gate 2? I converted him, though now that I think of it they have incorrect offsets. Tell you what, I'll recreate the dcc files with the correct offsets and submit the files to the keep, this way everyone can download them
EDIT: Hmm, sounds like you're talking about the D2 Gorgon that has unfinished animations... I don't think anyone finished those, unfortunately.

Re: Gorgon demons
On the other hand, if you're referring to the unfinished Gorgon Animations for Diablo II, there's no known third-party finished versions available that are based on the original D2 Gorgon design (at least that I'm aware of).goro3d" wrote:Has anyone finished the animations to this monster if so can u send me him plz? I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin.

Re: Gorgon demons
Yes I'm referring to the d2 gorgon sorry Alkalund I meant to edit my post lol. Well if anyone does finish those cool halfsnake/halfman animations it would be a cool addition. Hey maybe Blizzard is finishing them for version 1.10! That would be sweet!

No. Blizzard would never finish off something they started a while ago........just look at all the unused, unfinished things that have been rotting in the mpqs.

Human beings are foolish. They lack the ability to learn. They make the same mistakes over and over, yet still they do not change. They live each day only to consume, like a repeating loop in a program...

Re: Gorgon demons
This is a topic better served in the Multimedia Forum, so that is where I will move it.
Here is a question for the 3D animation wizards that might be out there. If you convert an unfinished monster's animations from DCC and make "filmstrips" of the individual direction sequences, can you import them and build a composite 3D model based on the eight resulting projections? Perhaps that would make designing the missing animation modes easier. (I haven't done any 3D modeling, so I may be talking through my hat.)

Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

Re: Gorgon demons
It coukld be possible, but the final resolution will surely be crappy ...
Personnaly i take another ways, using prerendered 3Danim from Neverwinter Nights and converting them to D2
I'll see if there is a gorgon like stuff in NWN ...

Re: Gorgon demons
ascar, the last post before yours was 19 years ago. If there was such resource available there would be a link to the file center.
