Keep Update 9/17/2004

Here I am again with another week's worth of events; unlike last week not too many new items. Between the start of school in the US last week and the start of college next week, a lot of people have serious distractions between them and modding! It isn't common for any of us to produce the Keep Update twice running, but we have had a shortage of personnel of late. But, as you will see later, we have some good news!

Doings at the Keep
- Once again we were hit in the face with a bucket of ISP Molasses. As spin writes: Routing troubles at our isp. I've already confirmed they still load for some people, and not for others....our contact at the ISP has just called and confirmed that everything was fixed once again.
- We have some big staff changes this week. Alkalund has been busy in the Real World and decided to take early retirement. We know he will be around from time to time, but if you have a question for the admins, you should contact one of the others. However, Onyx steps up to the exalted position of Site Admin, and now we can really put his vast talents to work. Onyx left behind a vacancy in the Senior Moderator ranks, which is filled by the ever-capable DeClineD. All this just in time, as I go on vacation next Wednesday!
