Anxiously searching for Median !

Greetings .. I was wondering if someone could possibly post a link to the median beta .. i loved it , but accidently deleted it when i reinstalled d2 . Now that the sites are down im having an impossible time trying to recover it .

This is my first post and ive only been lurking here a short time but id like to say that i think you are a genius with the skills Brother Laz and i greatly enjoy your work ie. demontrip , median ...and i only wish you had more time to concentrate on your mods ....... how selfish of me .

As i side note i would also like to say that i eagerly await the release of CWAT and i think that a combined effort between Joel and Brother Laz in the future would make modding history !

Well, if the site is down, I can't help it either.
Yes, having serious time problems. Have been able to work on 2.0 for a combined total of 4 hours in 2 weeks, which is the equivalent of half a day during the vacation.

Please , for the sake of all your fans worldwide , provide a link to the median beta ! Whilst you may have given up on the first median beta ... i would still love to mess around with it as ,im sure, would many others .

PM jbouley or Phrozen or another senior moderator or Joel [I'm sure the latter still has it somewhere ] - I'm not going to make a whole new site for an old obsolete and
bad
beta of a mod I'm restarting from scratch anyway.

It isn't just 'providing a link', it's 'making a site that's good enough for the world to see, with a link to a beta that's good enough for the world to see'. Hosted sites are by definition public...

Hey Adam, I PMed both of 'em that I'd upload it myself [and left the refusal posts untouched to discourage other people ] but I'll point them your way if it's OK for you.

I'm just wondering if it's the version from before or after the beta patch [broken assy skill icons, etc before the patch] and if the dll file is in it. Can't d/l it and check it out due to this comp sucking.

I ended the beta prematurely two days after it started, because it wasn't perfect. That was one month ago.

i added the new separately zipped .dll(i forgot what it was for) to the zip, so it should be the latest.

the dates are 09/24 for the mpq & 09/22 for the dll...

but I'll point them your way if it's OK for you.

my host is the largest connection(?) company in this country, so that should work well. i haven't seen any mention of usage limits, so it should be ok

Just make a new asn and look at the skill icons. If they're all the same and from CLoD, you've got the wrong version. If they're the new blue ones, it's the correct version.

hmm, i only played a sin and remember the correct icons. *tests it anyway*

yeah, everything works fine for me, new sin icons show up.

you're supposed to unzip it to your diablo 2 directory.

first copy diablo's d2game.dll and patch_d2.mpq to another directory, unless you want to re-install when you want to play something else.

it's for 1.10s.
