This is softcoded, so the pc one packed into the patch_d2.mpq will work fine

Re: Red Rune Mod for Mac
Hey there, thanks!
Now comes the dumb question...
how do I do that? I am new to this and kinda unsure how to proceed...are there any how-to-guides for packing or repacking?
thanks a ton!

Well unfortunatly the needed tools etc are in the file center which is down, try the www.18v.biz mirror, though i dunno if there are mac tools there

You can find all of the available Mac modding tools at http://machellforge.googlepages.com.
For the change you wish to make, you'd need the MPQTool, which is essential for changing the patch file.
Do you have the PC version of this mod, or are you going to need to start from scratch?

Re: Red Rune Mod for Mac
Thanks for the information !
I don't have the PC version, but I noted that it could be downloaded from twilightdesert...so I'd likely start there. I guess it depend on how long I want to invest in seeing my runes better. I used to play a necro all the time about 4 yrs ago...but lost the character in a puter crash...now I'm on a mac with a druid (level 68 wohoo). I've been rune collecting for a while and it is a bit tedious making sure I've not missed anything!
thanks again
