Do not activate more then 26 of your 51 passives, I've done some testing and turns out if you activate the 27th passive, you become a crasher.
This seems to include any passive or aura you get off your item as well, so if you have 20 passives from your tree, and 3 from items, and 4 from auras, you'll crash.

Do you know if aura when equipped items and/or passives from other sources count towards this limit? If so, that may explain a few more crashing characters. For example, your pally was crashing once and you believed it was the mehen shield's fault; your passive skills + aura when equipped + other passives could have exceeded 26 with that mehen shield.

Vae, I dont think so, I just beleive that the crashing bug from 1.07 isn't really fixed yet, this 27 passive thing is just a new one

Some people seem to be imune, it would be nice to know exactly why, but theres no way to tell that I can think of. And you'll only crash 'other' people, so I dont know if you're on single player or not.

i did what u said, tried hosting but second i click tcp/ip game when i get host join screen i get error cant detect valid ip address
with dial up ofcourse im single player, i told u earlier in other posts
also i have a lot of problems like graphics and other stuff, ur online so look at and reply to appropriate posts please

I play on [ref deleted], and all time haven't trouble, exept today:
I can't Create game, it's write that bad character stat data... and my friend can create game but when someone join and he going to act where someone he drop other...
why?
P.S. Haven't 26 passive!.. i have maybe... maxim 12 passive skills and have 2 aura
Tenai Best Mod now, i play a lot of mod like ES,Evil3, BlackEnd , but Tenai Best, if it work better will be Great.

and i just think maybe if there where are editor to set the skill down or delete the item or some thing...

What all constitutes a passive? Here's my list, please correct me as I know I missed some, or included some that weren't?:

Ooooh, thats why me and my gf cant play together (i have atleast 1 point in all the body, mind and resist skills, plus some auras. Nice to know what it is, i been installing, reinstalling and trying all kinds of stuff to fix it. 
I guess its singelplayer for me then.

it's not how many passives you have, it's how much char data you send to the other clients, there is a limit to how much a client can recive, if you go over this limit..it forces the client to shutdown, and the limit is like...6KB if i rmeber correctly

hey me and my bro are doing tcp/ip game and as soon as we join the same act we are both lvl 1 and when i tried it with a diffrent character and entered his same act it would crash and vice versa have any idea as to why this happens really wanna play together.

Using of {filtered} 6.5b prevent crashing.
{filtered} 6.5b filter wrong packets which can crash Diablo this is some kind of protection vs DropHack.
All players in TCP/IP game must use it.

so quick question to anyone, don't know if this is the right place to do so but it is frustrating. I am on a Lan at home behind a router and when I try to connect to my friends games I can't connect. He is also on a Lan with a router and we know our external IP's not just our local ones and we still can't connect. If anyone could help here I would greatly appreciate it.
