I am playing 1.13 version now, more interesting than before.but I got twice crash in a same place.It happened after I killed the minor(I can't remember exactly the name,it shows after the titan died,and looks like warrior with a big axe ).I crashed two times,and the mistake info is

assertion failure

does someone can help me?thx

When i gilde the Set ring of the LvL90 Barb set Titans Anger to the max ( Steel Barring, Dragon Heart and all Scarabs installed ) and try to put it on it makes PENG and my desktop smiles at me. And no i did not try to put two set rings on :roll: Also there are too many stats in the weapon of this set; if i put it on completly no stats are shown on the weapon.
Mods Played so far: Chaos Empire, Walhalla, Eastern Sun, Jonnys Mod,Kingdom of Tenai,ZyEl

I learned English 15 years ago so typos are intention;-)

haha, this is kinda lame i know, all the bugs are in like a5 ans stuff but i seem to be crashing whenever i kill Dire Shield (unique dung beetle) in stony tomb lvl 1. it very well could jsut be my computer so im going to try and reinstall diablo but just thought id give yall a heads up incase it is something that needs changes.

Also, sometimes when i plaay for longer times (30 min) it will reandomly crash. but many times after i lvl twice, sometiems even once, and i go to pick up the invention #635 charm...it crashes my game as soon as i click on it. I dont know wheather this is because im running ur mod on a mac when it was formatted on a Pc...i dont know much about programming but if there is anything i could do (i jsut reinstalled also and it still does the charm one, havent tested the long time playe one) it would be a great help for any info. thanks

Charm may have a line that may be refrencing something that may be in one of the dll files and that may be causing the crash with the charm.

I played on mac back in january but it was a diferent version of the mod and it was on lod 1.10b patch. I did not have any crashes but i could not bring the larsuks choice from a character which was created on a pc.

The crashing may be due to the fact that the mac is only using the mpq portion of the mod.

Carpe:

The guilding may have added to many attributes and may be causing the crash.

The weapon may to many lines to show all the lines so none are showing but is still under the maximum number atributes for an item.

I belive why Vega limited rune words from set items is because it is easier to get item corruption ( to many attributes)because of the set bonuses

Hey, thanks Hans but i dont think thats the problem because when i run my computer in OS9.2.2 it runs flawlessly although a lil slow. i think this has to do with the blizzard virtual loading program which allows a 9.2.2 game to run in OS 10 i also noticed that when i played before, on patch version 1.11, i never crashed but then again, im not sure whenther Bliz unwittingly fixed something that made Vega's mod work better. i donno but thx for the reply.

srry for not adding this into the last one but the carm works fine within the first few min of entering a game...or could it be because in im Sp or something like that. i donno anything about coding or .dll or that kinda stuff.

The Sorc Gilding Recipe has a bug.
The Green Scarab turns into a yellow by Cubing in an Item! (the yellow will not turn in green :cry: )

I started a cold sorc and Ice Bolt seems to do no damage? I can spam it like mad at things and then get chilled but their life doesn't move at all, but then one frost nova will take them down.

Edit: Is there a complete, easy to browse list of known issues anywhere for this mod? I looked on the site but didn't see anything. Might be nice to have some sort of organized list to look at instead of having to search around the threads here for them to see if anyone else has encountered the same bug..

Hey guys, long time since I last posted, but I just reinstalled diablo II and forgot that 1.13a doesn't work on 1.11 LoD, so I was wondering how do you revert back to 1.10 LoD without having to reinstall everything?

I just wanted to try the mod.
I used a clean 1.09 installation, patched to 1.10 and then copied the KoT files in.
But when I try to start the game I get a message, that some number in storm.dll cannot be found. I'm not quite sure how it is called in english. In german it says "Ordnungszahl 956" or something like that.

Any suggestions?

Edit: The number is 904 and this is quite disturbing since KoT does not seem to change storm.dll at all.

my suggestion would be to uninstall Diablo II and then reinstall it and patch it to 1.10 and try again.

Whenever i try to start diablo with the KOT files in place, i get this error. also, KOT comes with d2customtbl.dll and d2extra.dll, these files are not part of the normal d2 files, do i use them?
also, some ppl have said KOT only works with 1.10 and not 1.11, if this is true, how do i convert back to 1.10 to use KOT.

ok, for soem reason me and a friend just kileld diablo ( we decided we'd do forge later) so i try to go through portal, Diablo 2 crashes and i get an error message saying soemthign about an Illegal Exception. Is this just becuase we didnt finish the forge or soemthing??

it is because you are prolly trying to run the mod in version 1.11b, you need to downgrade to 1.10.

i am really sorry for this, hopefully this will be the last post i'll ahev tomake on this topic, My friend has 1.11 and needs to revert to 1.10, but someone stole his CD-Key so he cant re-instal and download 1.10. Anyone able to get me a 1.11 to 1.10 reverter that doesnt make it a no-cd loader or anything that prevents online play?? if you know a link to one or can make one, please, let me know

INSANO nova damage done by the misshapens in the nderground Passage, I die immediately, with 380 life at level 16.... is this weird or is this nromal for this mod?

EDIT: Ok, now it booted me from d2 and i cant re-enter... im beginning not to like this mod.... :bad-words: :growl: :rage: :poofmad:

Hi all!I'm new here,but i'm playng KoT for a long time,but KoT 1.11 in 1.13 i'm new.I want to ask for two things (i think one of them it's bug).
1 I start KoT 1.13 with Sorceress(Fire) and on all skill are writen(for example) +5 to Fire Bolt but when i put them in the charm there is only +1 to Fire Bolt(like in 1.11).Is that a bug or what?
2 This is a question(sorry to post it here) Can someone explain to me the sistem with the passive skill charm?Just i dont't understand...Thanks for the attention! :D

And i almost forgot in some of the new runes (alpha,beta...) was writen the name of the rune and the level required,nothing else just the kevel needed and the name.Is that a bug?Like the runes i see some skills in the body skills tree i think and ot them was writen the name of the skill and and the level of the skill,nothing else only name and level.Is that a bug?
