I was just wondering that is there any IRC-channel for EftA?

As far as I know there is not, but one option everyone might consider is downloading Topaz Chat and using the realm as a chat server (which it was meant for). I can even make you guys a permanent EftA channel with moderation and all if you want

if you guys want a irc-channel we could create on on EUirc, there is no bot needed to keep the channel open like on quaknet

I think that an IRC channel would be better in this case, because almost everyone already has IRC and then you don´t have to use many progs to chat along with irc.
Maybe #efta would be a good name?

I dont mean to be persistent, but I just remembered that the PvPGN server has IRC capabilities (you can use mIRC). I'll look into how it works... Anyhow, I would be interested in hosting the IRC chat channel on the same server as United Realms if everyone wants me to, or if you want the channel on the public server I would be happy to moderate it... I can usually be available from 3-11pm EDT every night, longer on weekends.

OK everyone the IRC server is almost ready to go, the ip is the same as United Realms, 24.154.96.70. You can use mIRC to connect, but until I post again the server will be up and down while I install and configure all the IRC services on it (NickServ, ChanServ, etc.)

plz post again when the server is full operational

It is tough latching onto a mod after the others have moved on. We haven't heard from mouse in a couple of months, and activity in this forum is nowhere what it used to be. Too bad, because it is a fun one.

&i regret it too, still havent found a better 1.1-mod. &the server-play was awesom

Mouse exists!
Mouse has 3 weeks to finish his MA thesis and hasn't really started yet.
Mouse lacks the actual ability to be "present" for the forseeable future.
Mouse is somewhat sad, but mostly too stressed to feel anything else.

Good to hear from you! It looks like you won't be able to stay on top of this mod for a while, so I'll move it to the Unsupported Mods category. But if you return, let us know and one of us will move it back.

Take care of RL (much more important!) and I hope your masters thesis works out.
