Items for Single Player

Post by Miguex » Sat Aug 28, 2004 9:42 am

Hello! I'm a single player of this mod, and was wondering if someone has nice items or runes (cham or zod, i already have all the others :) ) and could send me the characters. I'm making an huge collection of all the Unique/Sets items of the game. Perhaps we could make that collection available to other players, so they can try runewords, cube recipes or see the results of a worktype before trying it (but we should include unskilled lvl 99 characters for this to work properly, it's this posible?).

I already have:
- A mule with all the stones, 10 of each.
- A mule with almost all the runes (need Cham and Zod), 2 of each, and all the gems, 1 of each.
- Another one with jewels and charms for use in the cube recipes.
- A lot of mules with the uniques i've found (not much yet, and most of low lvl, i must make a list and posting it, don't you think? )
- A lot of mules with pieces of sets, only 8 of them completed (I should make another list ^^)
- A few of socketed items (not much yet) for trying runewords.

Please, let me know what do you think about this idea. I've seen things like this available for LOD, and was pretty useful.

PD: If you want to help me, send me a private message ;)

Unskilled chars on lvl 99 are created when you start the game with the
-act5
suffix in the command line

I believe your target line should read something like:

"C:\diablo ii\diablo ii.exe" -act5

Or something similar, its like adding the -direct -txt flags

Oh, it seems the correct sufix it's -act 5, with the space. Anyway, it "only" gives you a lvl 33 (99/3 ¿coincidence?) character...

It works for me without the space, too.
But it gives me an lvl 99 char instead of your lvl 33 one.
Are you sure you use the right mpq and dlls? I think in regular Diablo you got a lvl 33 (30?) char when you use the act 5 command.
If you try lower numbers you get a lower char, but act5 works fine for me.
Are you getting the right amount of skillpoints like Efta gives you at least?

Let me see...

224 stat points and 32 skill points. Correct.

Perhaps it's because i have it installed in a subdirectory, using the shortcut "Start in", you know. I'm going to try the clasic intallation...

Works! Thx dudes :) But... 297 skill points?????? LOL
