set item mod

Hi, i want to make a mod that enables some additional possibilities for the elite-sets

i saw something like this somewhere, and would be helpful if you could point me to it :)

the idea is basicly:
cube recipes
immortal king hammer -> sword -> polearm -> staff -> ect (to have all masteries and singers covered)
mavinas bow -> mav javelin -> mav amazon pike (to cover all trees)

ect pp

is it enough to copy for example the IK-hammer line, and then just change the weapontype/graphics or is there something else to consider?

the cube recipes i think i can make easily, just not sure about how sets work.

Only problem you could encounter is, if you set for your item a specific graphic. If your set item use the basic item type graphic there won't be a problem. Nothing more than a cube recipe should be needed. Eastern Sun does this for example.
