I have questions
1. AS47. I can at the same time have Small and Square Vlad Tepe's Sustenance Charm?
2. Kanji Runes. Null Rune + 2 Frozen Souls = Moon Rune. How many points need have in "Crystal Can" to make 1 Frozen Soul? :O
3. How many Experience Bonus gives Lvl 12 Aura of Divinity?
4. Is there an editor for ES or saves with 99 lvl and unused skillpoints?

1. No-size doesn't influence the charm-type. Vlad Tepe is Vlad Tepe :-)

Reinstalled D2 on my Home PC with a new installation of windows so would not be surprised if some programs are missing...

Try running D2 in Admin Mode with compatibility mode.
Also try to update your direct X and direct 3D/draw. hope that helps

€dit: For me it also helped to change the ouput graphics. Direct 3D n such. Only 1 of those works for me - also I can only ever play windowed ...

I had been playing Eastern Sun using D2SE. Had gotten as far as act 5 Frozen Tundra. Came back to Cain to get items identified, the came crashed and did so every time I came to Cain. Tried another character I had at a lower level, same crash. Tried other mods I had in D2SE they all crashed, all except Myth. the only difference was all had core 1.10f and Myth has 1.13.
Anybody else seen this problem?
Tried Stabbys info but no luck. I gave up on Eastern Sun years ago, but it is a super mod so I would like to get it going again.

Restart your computer should fix that. It's a rare bug you can encounter in various mods.

this error sounds like ASLR issue, those mods might use the npc plugin from d2mods. like alpha say all you can do is reload and hope for the best.

Thanks for the advice. Tried restarting computer several times. No luck.
Dumped everything and reloaded every thing from scratch.
Was running ES 300 R6E Com4.1n when crash occurred. Now trying ES 300 R6D.
So far so good. Would like to run without D2SE but not having much luck.
Is there a big difference between R6D and R6E COM4?

I have both ES's working. after a lot of crashes dumped R6E Com4 1N and started whole mess over with R6D.
Now have both working on D2SE. Along with Myth the only one of the mods i had loaded that did not crash. It appears to me the problem lies more in Plug Y 10.
All other mods used PlugY 10 except Myth that uses PlugY 9. D2SE is 2.2, but has been being updated to 2.3 for over 3 years.
Curious AlphA, is ES Rises a total update to the the old ES, or a Patch?

Darn Cain, after a clean load of Diablo 2 and LOD, also D2SE and R6E COM4 when i got to Cain for identification of items the game crashed.
I can play the game if I don't want to use Cain. Soon as I click on him the game crashes. At least it did it right away instead of waiting for me to get to Act 5.
Is there any way I can play Eastern Sun without D2SE? I tried to put D2 in C:\Games instead of Program but didn't work.
Is there a newer version for installation than Stabby's?

ESR is a patch. It doesnt contain everything you need. As such it would be best to copy it over the latest Com Patch. Of course you can play ES without D2SE. Install the full ES version you can find in this forum, then patch over the Com Patch (and if wished) ESR. (you will need to start you D2 with -txt -direct, for it to work).

You can also down or upgrade or downgrade your plugy version (just make sure it's compatible with your D2 Version). There is also a newer plugy version, that I would recommend if you not use D2SE.

Uninstalled all and have a clean install of D2 LOD. My question is, where can I find Full Eastern Sun to download and install?
Database is dead.
I can't get D2LOD to run without D2SE. I have Windows 10 64. D2 is 1.12.

After searching through Frozen Keep to find Eastern Sun to download, I went to Kirmizi perfect and down loaded Es300 R6D full, also patch R6E Com 4 N1
Now if I can only get to run.

Normal ES doesnt run with 1.12a, you would need to downgrade to 1.10 (ESR also runs with 1.10). Else you have to download the special 1.12a ES version. Seems the link on the wiki are broken, so I am currently uploadind the mod files for you. Will editing them in later.

Did you checked in at snej board for any advice to fix your trouble with D2SE.

Thank you. I had used other mods and didn't work, yours did. Used Stabby's mod to play with 1.12.
Some small problems will work on.
1. crashes occasionally
2. to get full screen need to play 640, I can play 800x600 but covers about half the screen
Lists on shortcut es300 R6D v1.12 no mention of Community R4.1N patch. I did install it.

Just to remind you, if you use the 1.12a version of ES. That wont work with certain features of ESR. What other problems you have? When do you crash?

I understand that from when I played years ago trying to get ES to play.
Has froze three times so far just in the Moor, never at the same place. Once turning a stone, another shooting arrow, froze in mid air. At least now you turn off game and back on it, the game works.
With D2SE, once locked had to reinstall, everything to break .
Can't run full screen with 800 x 600.
I'm stuck with 1.12. Tried lowering no luck.
Anyway to tell if Comm N1 works. No mention in game. Only thing I noticed so far, or it's just m, seems it just a littlle harder.

Funny answer, not looking for gems. Perhaps turning over a rock was confusing. Barely enough gold to buy a flawed gem.

What is the purpose of the various super areas throughout the game? Is it just to give variety while farming or do they each have special drops or something? For instance, cow level...love the cow level. But there's also the lost farm? Is one better than the other? Or dark magician, the various holes in A5, etc.

Since I haven't played the various places in years, but that the Fake Note Factory you get notes you sell for 5,000 gold pieces. Certain ones you can farm for good pieces of equipment
Some mostly give you a challenge.
Since I have patch 1.12. Can play on D2SE, but got to A5 normal and crashed. Trying to find away to get a lower patch.
Reloading D2 LOD umteen time. May just give up.
Alpha - The Real One is a big help.

Elad: Patch 1.12 should be easily downgradeable. Also if you start ES via D2SE you are using 1.10, not 1.12. What crash are you having?
sutasafaia: most of those areas have a higher drop rate for specific ores to have a higher chance of getting certain crystals.

Lost Farm and the way down to Nila are usually considered the best endgame farming spots.

Looked every where as to how to patch down 1.12 with no luck.
Uninstalled everything to start a clean start. Loaded the two mods you gave me, but of course wouldn't work with 1.12. Then tried Stabby's method, but computer freezes randomly and often.
Looks like if I want to play Eastern Sun I will need to use D2SE. I just hate to get ready to fight Baal or other places and it crash with no hope of recovery.
In the meantime, I'm playing Myth using D2SE. My Diablo2 discs are 1.12. Are you using D2SE?

If you use D2SE and you D2 is 1.12 everything is fine man. Just install the ES Com Patch Plugin which you can find on the same website as D2SE (Snej Board).

To downgrade you D2 Version (which is not needed with D2SE for any version up to 1.13c) use a program called Version-Changer, which you should be able to find via google.

I know I can run on D2SE, but after a total crash I was hoping to play without D2SE. Right now I'm playing THOC, MYTH and ES On D2SE. Is ERS a separate patch I can add to Comm 4N1. If so have searched this site with no luck. Will look for Version Changer.
