Experimental "Armageddon" (with screenshot)
I was playing around with some new missile code, ( no idea if this will or will not be included ), and ended with this here:

Enjoy the eye candy, as we don't know if (and in what form) this will be included I didn't put it on the main screenshot thread. But you can expect similar and even more extravagant things (gfx wise at least).

Really nice . But howcome you have a widescreen screenshot? did you glue two pictures together or did you tamper with the code so you can play at multiple resolutions? That would be awesome

The game has support for more then the official resolutions, just that they are halfway coded and not really useful for anything other then taking screenshots (theres no complete GUI code for them). If I have time for it, I'll prolly add a few new modes, at least for common resolutions.

Ofc the gui thing is the only reason the 1344x700 isn't useable ATM for much, other then giving larger screenshots. It already needed a bit of coding to not crash when you manipulate the belt (belts.txt needs new entries for 1344x700 mode, same for inventory.txt), these where easy to add though. So future code would prolly calculate the disposition of GUI elements on it's own (a system like D2 has for this is horrid anyway...).Aggrocorni";p="399902" wrote:will you add a functional GUI to them, too?
