Set item reroll

Post by Domini Canes » Mon Jun 12, 2006 2:18 am

Does anyone know if the set item + p.emerald to reroll set item works?

Tried a set ring with one and nothing happened.

Has this been eliminated and replaced with the formula to reroll and might change the set item?

Thanks.

I don't know what you're looking at, but I see:

set ring + perfect amethyst + perfect diamond + perfect skull -> re-rolled set ring

Just do a search in the text file for:

any set

that should come up with the older formula.
But I couldn't find anywhere that said that it had been disabled; I was under the impression that all older TFW functionality still existed.

Like it says in the documentation, the old recipes and references are for historical purposes only. They probably aren't implemented.

Damn, beat by a RTFM...

I never actually noticed that little line.

Thanks for the reference... damn I'll miss that formula.

They get us all from time to time  .

I think that although this incarnation of TFW is supposed to be a "conversion" from 1.09 to 1.10 it is more like a total re-working of the mod with the amount of work that has gone into it. Even the recipes which are the same or very similar to the 1.09 versions (e.g. fury gem recipes) I would think have had to be totally re-written. Myhrginoc and his fellow collaborators have done sterling work on this mod. :)

Agreed.
I've tried Eastern Sun and another mod once upon a time, but my wife and I just haven't had as much fun with any other mod.

It's great to see it coming to life again.
