Technical difficulties

As some of you may have noticed, we have recovered from a severe server issue, namely a faulty harddrive. |The disk has been replaced, but we have lost about 24 hours of new posts in the forum. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I don't think everything is working as it should be yet. I keep getting logged out when browsing the forums and trying to post replies. Hopefully this will post okay.

Try logging out and then in again. It's probably a problem with your cookies. I don't have this issue on my end currently.

I had the same issue Al-T, it took me FOREVER to be able to report the issue, and I was just logging on just to PM someone when I said screw this as soon as I reported it.

It's not a cookie issue. There have been no changes to my main browser (Firefox), either updates or settings in over 2 months. I'll check my other browsers (IE8, IE9, Opera 11.5 and Chrome) and see if the problem occurs in them also.

In all cases, logging in, browsing and performing any other actions is much slower than usual.

I also keep getting logged out, and checking the auto-login won't work to. Pretty annoying.

According to our host, there is nothing wrong currently. He advised that you log out, clear your cookies, and then log in again. Other than that, I'm not sure how I can help you, given that I'm not experiencing the same problems as you.

Cookies are cleared every browser session end. Have also done this manually 4 times. DNS resolver cache has been flushed and have renewed IP address 3 times. Prefetch directory is cleared every 30 minutes. Defragmented HD. Checked remote connections to home and work networks...no issues. Next test on my side would be to flatten and reimage PC/flatten PC and reinstall O.S. and all programs manually and I'd rather not do that just yet.

It's only in the last 24 hours I have been experiencing these problems, since the posts were lost, so can you ask the host to double-check please?

Ok, the website is still logging me out, BUT it is loading alot faster then yesterday, and no more errors....
besides the log out issue....

EDIT: I also cannot download anything off of inverthia, I have no idea if this applys to any other download source on the keep too.

The last problem that we were experiencing has also been fixed. It was a problem with the board e-mails. Sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.

All new users who have registered to the site in the last couple of days didn't receive the authorization e-mail, so their accounts are inactive. If any of you read this, please contact me and I'll activate your accounts manually.

The forums seem to be much slower than before. Often I can't connect and even if I can loading is terribly slow.
