It 's really cool that u brought back the "cursed" items back into the game...
I understand you will be adding new unique itemz into the game, and as far as I know most of the unique items in D1 are also kinda "cursed" in some way... for an example, the Thinking Cap has such a low dur. but yet it's quite amazing consider it's ability... and Doombringer which can deal high damage but yet it'll decrease your attributes..
I just wondering if you will add those "cursed" features to your new uniques or you consider it to be a bad idea?

I'm planning to bring back all the uniques from D1 and Hellfire in the game. Of course, some of them will be hard to make, but I'll do everything possible, I promise :P

Hi Onyx I found a bug..or two

The fireballs that those Lava Lords throwing at me deal no damage at all.

Also.. the Cave Viper's walking speed seems to be a bit high.... it's cool for the normal version of the Viper since the speed made them to be more challenging and fun to play with..
However for the Champion Cave Vipers, their speed are so fast that I couldn't escape by any means expect for leaving the area. The speed issue may not be a bug but it 's kinda scary 8-O

It needs an NPC, because the wounded townsman tells the story of the Butcher ;) And if I put a dead body there, if you click on it it will drop something, and this is everytime you enter a new game...

Its quite possible to be stuck from advancing in act2 by accidently losing the alchemist bag (by for instance dropping it on ground and exit game)

Perhaps not so much as a bug, but user error ^^

The "doorways" between lvls in act2 is kinda hard to see on map..

(hmm was thinking about the gheeds tavern sollution...)

Dissmissing that the wounded townsman could be a grapic (like those trees), non clicable one dead body or

you could move the entrance , into bloodmore/equivalent and use Flavic as the wounded townsman, in diablo1 it was a small walk to get to the dungeons...

I can't seem to find the entrance to the "jail" in act2 ( the quest which I suppose to do after the festing nest.).. can someone tell me how to get into the jail and find the remaining notes? thx

The Jail is located in the upper right part of the town, and there is a guard in front of it, you can't miss it :) Sorry, it's my mistake it's hard to find it with the mouse (too small clickable area).

The graphics rule, I must admit. And the atmosphere is really good.

I have been playing a sorcress... and those skel archers are really really nasty. You go into a room, you get hit by 3 arrows. You die.

I'm trying another char now :mrgreen:

Have got some time to play again :)

Bug Reports:
Ogden Sells hireling before you have complete the snotspill quest. I first time meet snotspill in Catacomb Level 3 and at this time I have been able to hire some time.

In Catacombs Level 3 the wall are bugged (You using LOS DRAW?): Here is a screenshot for the error Wall Gfx bug


Balance Tweek:
Snotspill boss is to easy: Suggestion raise hp and damage or give a nasty skill to him :)

This level will be chnaged anyway in the next version, so I don't care :P Made it very quickly for the beta release, no surprise it's buggy. You can check for example the warp that leads to Catacombs level 4, I've put the Cathedral Gate, because I was short in time ;)

Yeah, I can understand that. Got quite surpriced when it was an entrance down behind the door :)

EDIT:

More Reports.

Ring [of Burder] isn't spawned with any ability (Supposed this is a cursed suffix?).

Balance Issues:
King Leoric Very weak (I know you already know this). I miss two things with him. First minions, it would be nice if he had a lot of scary skeleton Warrior/skeleton Archers around him. You know how it is in D1, its scary :)

Also, I miss a summon skeleton ability on him.

EDIT:

Balance:
Andariel a bit weak would need to increase the damage a bit (not the poison damage, but the physical damage)
Felltwine Poison damage to high (takes forever before it ends or this intended? to force use antidote :) )

Suggestion:
Make vendor sell antidote potion.

Bugs:
Town act2 edge bug (you know it already, but wrote it here aswell)

Lots of bugs. Maybe this should be sticky so that if people don't post it in for a while we don't have to look on like the 2nd or 3rd pg of the BTH/other mod fourm.









P.S I have played it but not for a long time. Wish I could find my stupid LOD CD.

It is a Sticky already, you should have looked better. However, your post has nothing to do with a bug thread or feedback, avoid posting off-topics in this thread in the fufture.

Defiler - You could make this one a bit harder (no joke). I had no problem to kill it with my Monk :)

It would be cool if this one could summon Hornspawn :)

Suggestion:
Hornspawn; Deal damage on death

Bug:
Entrance down to Nest Level2 (you know what I mean)

Um, what? Shame on you, this is not the one that summoned Horkspawns! :x I think you mixed it with the Hork Demon, it was found on the first level of the Nest in Hellfire... It's still not present in BTH, but will be in the next version ;)

Here's a couple:

-Adria's fps is 2x as fast as the other npcs.
-Skeletons spawn too fast
-first quest currently unsolvable as u said

i know this isn't a bug but somethign that was in d1 that was jsut funny.

can the cow's mooo ?

and will you be adding anyhting such as the cowlevel and the crypt such as in Hell Fire. it would be nice if it was like when you changed the command.txt.. you know everythign you wanted :)

it is a sweet mod.. i like that is is a chalange.. although i made it to act 3 in under 6 hours. kinda wish that act1 was longer.. can't wait to see the rest of it.
