What do you mean by "runeword plugins"
Do you mean ladder runewords enabled? or just a bunch of new runewords? If so you don't need to use D2Mod to add them

There is also a plugin for d2mod that allows runewords in uniques, set, magics, rare, etc.

Well thats easy, just delete the contents of the complete column in runes.txt

not really, just put a bunch of 1s. it won't cause any errors.
