How do you keep track of gold not in your possessionorstash?

How do you keep track of gold not in your possessionorstash?
I think PlugY is great but I have no idea how to keep track of how much gold I have beyond whats on the stash and in possession. Can I find this somewhere in the interface?

Are you talking about the shared stash gold? If so, just hover over the gold display/shared gold buttons, it'll show you the balance in a a hover box
