PlugY Question

Post by Ignaitus » Tue Mar 29, 2011 5:15 am

Is there any way to have PlugY built into my mod (-direct -txt) by default as soon as it runs? If so then how?

use the plugy launcher as the launcher for your mod, you can set the command line parameters in the ini (this is what blackened did years ago, though we never used actual plugy...)

i tried doing the -direct -txt thing with plugy, it doesnt seem to work. ignores my mod txt files or overwrites some of it (such as saying gloves which normally have >1 socket are seen as socket 0). -w worked fine though.

Make sure you set it up to start in your mod folder(we had the launcher in our mod folder, never had the problems you described).

i don't have a specific mod folder, guess i make one? its under the default data excel directory. will this mess with the direct text thing? im a little confused now. the read me doesnt really cover it for mods. that and forum search didnt help me much.

this should probably go in the read me for mods:
to have plugy use -direct -txt the plugy files+exe should be in the same install folder as the modded files and the diablo 2.exe

Create shortcut for PlugY

Target
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Mod PlugY\PlugY.exe" -direct-txt

Start in
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\[your mod folder]"

Copy files from Mod PlugY folder into your own mod folder

Return to “PlugY|NefEx|D2Mod”
