Question.

Post by Alexd2 » Sat Aug 05, 2006 4:33 am

Hi Talonrage,
I just wanted to know if you could change the installation of the mod for v1.11b because I can't replace my game.exe file for some reason. I think it would be better to install it an other way... I would also like to know if theres anything more in your mod with v1.11b than with v1.10. Thx

You dont REPLACE the game.exe, you add game1.exe (which is just a game.exe for patch v1.10) to run RoS (which is a patch v1.10 Mod) from a patch v1.11 install.

This Link gives detailed steps for three seperate methods on how to install Requiem. If you follow them exactly, you'll not have any problems installing my Mod.

Ok I see...So that also mean that theres no difference between playing the mod on 1.10 and on 1.11 ?

No difference, because it doesnt use any files from Patch v1.11 at all. The setup method just allows you the option to install the Mod into a Diablo II folder that uses Patch v1.11 as the primary patch.
