I can't change hireling skill

I simply replaced the Fire Arrow in the hireling.txt for the very first rogue scout, by Cold Arrow. Then I changed the monanim in skill.txt from seq to attack.
I start the game with -direct -txt and the rogue doesn't throw any cold arrow, nor fire arrow. She fires, and then stop for a very short time, then restarts throwing arrows, sometime she performs an inner sight, but nothing else.
What's wrong ? plz heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

What level is your Rogue? If she isn't high enough level, she may not be able to cast the cold arrow. You may also have to tweak with the percentages that affect the probability that she will use that form of attack.

I've managed to add additional attack forms for the Rogue including Baal Inferno missiles (fearsome!).

I tried with the very first rogue.
She's lvl 3.
I will try with a higher lvl.

It depend on the level of the rogue.
