The move to diablofans.com had and still has my blessing, however, it transpired that the diablofans team did not have anyone prepared to/with enough time to help with the move. There was a limited interest in the beginning but it fell to Hans and JrEye to do the majority of the conversion. I was asked myself to help and initially was willing but after thinking about it for a while I declined in the knowledge that any conversion project requires full commitment on both sides and while the PK team were 100% behind it, there was little or nothing coming in return from the diablofans team. If that changes in the future I may be willing to assist but until then, we have a fantastic resource at the Wiki anyway which will improve as time progresses so making a "duplicate" with "bells and whistles" is a no go for me until there is more commitment from the diablofans side.

TBH I was turned off by the fact I hated the formatting of the runeword template.

Not to mention that I would need to learn to work with their stuff that I have little to no knowledge of to adequately do anything with.

Wikispaces doesnt have the type of stuff they do. Im fairly happy with wikispaces not sure how others feel. It's free, and fairly user friendly. I know I havent done much work lately (stresses of life) but Im loving how my new tables are comming up for runewords.

Once all RWs are added to the new list Im doing everyone cool with phasing out the old way? Im up to Level 55 RWs and so far am about halfway through page 4 (atm right now thats 350 RWs ported over including different variants of the same RW depending on Item type).

Ive also taken the liberty of updating the Gem/Rune Page to reflect what charms are affected by what. May work on it some more or play my Evo Char a bit today.

Does everyone agree 1000 samples should be more than enough to get an adequate range for variable stats on RWs? Im also thinking about making a graph to show what value you are most likely to get.

Im setting up a stash that has: 10 of each gem type/grade, 100 Jewels with -20% Requirement, 50 of each rune and about 50 of each item type that can carry a RW to do samples from.

I have about 1/3rd of the runes needed and will soon build the Items to be socketed once I can get all the runes done.

1000 would be more than enough. 99% of the time, 100 would be more than enough if you watch what you are doing. When you see what appears to be a min or max, then after hitting that min or max a couple of times and not exceeding it, you can pretty much call it done. There may be a few of the RWs that give you headaches and don't give you the mins or maxes within one or two hundred, but those will be ultra-rare. That is quite ambitious, sir - I wish you all the luck in the Wiki

granted 100 should be fine, 1000 should be ample to get a good sample to guess what min max are, plus it will make my graphs look 'pretty'

kinda rethinking the 1000 samples lol, about to hit 320 on Salute and have not found much deviation outside whats listed, about to just say 'its good to go' lmao

I guess you needed to personally experience the pain before you could realize what you were getting yourself into with a sample size of 1000. No, no disagreement here.

well since I was only making 50 at a time that would mean I would have to do a maximum of 20 rounds of it and with it taking around 15 mins to do, that would take a long time lol. I finally found some boots I can have 3 sock in so I can test the 3sock variation of Salute tomorrow.

Looking at the wiki unique items list, many of the image links are not working (404).

Edit: Same with alot of the cube scroll image links too.

Thats because they were linked to another site that held the pictures, we can probably get new ones if people have them.

Up to 11 Runewords completed (or at least to the point where there really wont be any changes with the stats for the most part)

Slowly working on getting the rest of the Runewords done. Have been working on getting enough socketable items to do samples with. Almost got perfect versions (almost max in all varied stats) of a few runewords.

I will also be working on the cube scroll pages to make them more clean and more organized. With that some work on Unique items may come into play too.
