BrotherDog:

"Shadow Shard" amulet

Negates all light radius bonuses and penalties (shadows need = light and dark)
"Shadow Aura" when equipped (makes all minions and self a dark sillouette* with some manaleach, with 03 - 13% chance to convert shadows)
+5 - 7 Dex
-5 - 7 Vit
+2 to summon Shadow
Maybe a 45th lvl requirement. Not sure on this.......

* Not including brite colored items equipped. Just to add extreme contrast
Comments: How to do negation of a stat (whether positive or negative) is not known yet, at least by me, but I'll look around. Same thing for casting a spell on only a particular type of monster. This one I can think of a rather complicated way that might work...but I'm not sure. I'll see if I can come up with some kind of neat shadow overlay though.

Mamotreto:

osiris wish - jewel, amulet, charm or ring (or maybe a set of them....)

+1 to all skill levels
add experience +10-15%
all resist +5-10%
chance of getting magic items by lvl
35-50% extra gold from monsters
-6 to light radius

Gandor:

Both of these look ok, will have to make that jewel really rare though ;)

Gold Ring Unique:

Unveiling Fury Gold Ring
(Viking Only)

[Required level = 71]

+2 to Viking skill levels
+# Str (based on Char level, level / 3)

Looks ok as well

Exo:

Archon Bo - Fenrir's Wrath

200-350% Enhanced Damage
5% Life Leech
25% chance of crushing blow
15% chance of deadly strike
1-300 lightning damage
+5-15% lightning absorb

Req lvl = 80
Not bad exo, not too overkill ;)


Dryden:

Murder of One (jewelry i'm thinking)
+X to Summon Raven (.25/Level)
+X to Distill Gem (.25/Level)
+X% gold dropped (1.5/Level)

Baatezu's Tongue (dagger-type)
1% Chance to cast Lvl 10 Summon Pit Fiend on Striking
X% Life Drain (.1/Level + 5)
+20 Cold Damage
+1 to Mulch

Tana'ari Horns (Summoner Helm)
+2 to Summons (Summoner Only)
5% chance to cast Lvl 10 Spirit of Fire when struck
5% chance to cast Lvl 10 Spirit of Ice when struck
5% chance to cast Lvl 10 Volcano when struck
5% chance to cast Lvl 10 Tornado when struck

I like these ideas. As of yet there is no +skill/level, but I've been thinking of putting one in. Look for it hopefully in the future.

Great stuff guys! I'll try and get these, or close variants, into the next major patch. Providing that each person catches me on the server at least once so I know you are still interested ;) This will require me to put in 2 features I had been thinking about as well. Which may wonk characters. We shall see.

i think this idea is pretty cool :( and could be done with other kinds of summons as well or maybe even auras. im not sure of how much + per lvl. what do u think would be ok?

Mouse edit: You realize this would mean level 72 summon skill at level 110? not counting any +skills you have. any +skill/level I ever put in will not be higher than +1 level/6 character levels.

hehe yes 2/3 is definitely too high and i realized that too and i actually thought about 1/6 this morning too. ure the one with stats and i dont know how good they are without any synergies. but i think it should be so high that its actually usful at the lvl youre at at the time.

I'm not sure if diablo would accept some of the negative mods (I'm not a modder myself). Basically this item would help tremendously against elemental damage, but would leave you weakened against physical damage. Some of the mods may be a bit extreme ^^

ok first off, do you mean Stygian? cus thats the spelling in LoD

I really like EftA, playing a Viking myself. The final lightning skill (Thor's strike? former Amazon's Lightning strike) could be somewhat strongr in my opinion.

Anyway, some unique ideas myself:

Brain Breath:
(Death Mask)
+ 5 to Possession Loa
+ 1 to Chaos Hex
+ 10% magic resist
+ 2 mana / level
+ 3% poison damage

Shaking Skeleton:
(armour or bone shield)
+ 3 to Brittle Bones

I noticed something in your list of current Uniques. All versions of "Full Plate" (that is - Normal->Exceptional->Elite) are all called Stoneskin. How about have the 'normal' one as "Barkskin" Dark green with summon treant instead of Earth Elem. Then the 'exceptional' leave it as is. Then have 'elite' as "Steelskin" Light Blue with summon (some kind metal construct). :mrgreen: 8-O :mrgreen: ;) How do you like that idea, Mouse?

that's wierd, because there is only one stoneskin.

full plate (normal): Goldskin, Stoneskin
chaos armor (excep): Black Hades, Gunfu's Mania
shadow plate (elite): Steel Carapace, Shadowskin

hmm mousey u have a flag under ur name that says its "india.gif" are u really from india or wha?

i would think so cus like i remember in LoD magefists did +1 to "fire" skills, and it worked with sorc fire tab as well as fire golem fire traps etc etc, so any skills marked as "summon" would work (then again im no modder so maybe im dumb)
